Technical Sales Engineer
Full-time · Singapore / Malaysia
Own the technical side of the sales cycle — from live product demos to scoping custom deployments — across Vouza's full product line, including AI assistants, smart access hardware, and robotics.
What You'll Do
Present and demo Vouza's AI Assistants, WhatsApp AI, Smart ANPR, Smart Memorial, Smart Access & Security Monitoring, and Robotics solutions to prospective clients
Understand client requirements and translate them into tailored technical proposals spanning AI software, IoT/hardware, and robotics
Run product demonstrations and proof-of-concept deployments — including on-site ANPR camera setup, robot demos, and WhatsApp AI configuration
Work closely with the engineering team to scope custom AI implementation projects
Support the sales cycle from technical discovery through to closing and handover
Build and maintain relationships with property managers, enterprise clients, and channel partners across Southeast Asia
What We're Looking For
Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or a related field
2+ years in technical sales, pre-sales engineering, or solutions consulting (AI/IoT/robotics background a plus)
Comfortable presenting technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Hands-on aptitude for hardware demos — cameras, access-control devices, robotics
Strong communication skills; multilingual (English plus Mandarin or Malay) an advantage for the SEA market
Lead Vouza's finance function as we scale a mixed software, hardware, and project-based revenue business across Singapore, Malaysia, and Southeast Asia.
What You'll Do
Own financial planning, budgeting, and cash flow management as Vouza scales regionally
Manage billing and revenue recognition across subscription (AI Assistants, WhatsApp AI), project-based (Website Design, custom implementation), and hardware-inclusive (Smart ANPR, Smart Memorial, Smart Access & Security Monitoring, robotics) revenue streams
Oversee statutory compliance, tax filing, and audit readiness across Singapore and Malaysia
Build financial models and reporting for leadership
Manage vendor contracts and procurement for hardware components — cameras, robots, access terminals — and drive cost control
Support commercial agreements with technology partners (e.g. Twilio, AWS) as needed
What We're Looking For
Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (ACCA/CPA a plus but not required)
5+ years in finance or accounting, including leadership or managerial experience
Experience with SaaS/subscription revenue and project-based billing is a strong advantage
Familiarity with Singapore and Malaysia statutory and tax requirements
Comfortable operating in a fast-growing startup environment — hands-on as well as strategic
